I have a box of old business cards. I like to use them to “scissor sketch” with. I’m just sitting here making different pop up faces. They kinda remind me of Jack O Lanterns. Comments

Keystone Head and Body Template by J.E.Moores. Add your design to this template. The Keystone Head is fun by itself, and you can use the tabs on the bottom to make it a complete enclosed box. If you want to use the body, you can fold in the tabs on the bottom of the Keystone, or just cut them off. Once built, the Keystone Head just slips over the top of the body’s neck. You can rotate the head to the side or forward… it’s adjustable. Design arms, wings, or whatever that fits your design. PLEASE: Submit Photos & Design Here - I really enjoy seeing what you do. Close up photos of completed blank template. This pattern likes to ride in my paper cars. Take your design for a ride! |
While taking photos I noticed...

Anonymous asked: What program do you use to make paper toys? Paper, pencil, scissors, an eraser, and glue. Then I scan it to Photoshop to make a template over the working model. I print a blank template and draw on it in black pen. I then scan that, and color it with the paint bucket tool in Photoshop. Using the blank template I can do several skins on the same shape. |
I discovered a nifty Flash Animated Paper Toy Maker at Whitespace Creative. You simply drag and drop eyes, mouth, shapes and colors to the animated toy, and when you are done you just, (here it comes) Print! Cut! Fold! Glue! This is Smilie. We all know Smilie. For Valentine’s day he will give you his heart. Please take care of it. That little paper heart is so fragile. |
