This is how I have been making the HD how to videos for building my Paper Toys found in the book Print! Cut! Fold! Glue!. I tied a soft cotton rope (I pulled out of a hoodie sweater) to two legs of a small camera tripod. The third leg is not extended and rests on my chest, but the tied legs are extended all the way, and can be adjusted. It’s not easy making paper crafts with a camera in your face. At times I have to work looking at the camera’s monitor, and that’s weird to get used to. I could one day make Paper Toys remotely with the right equipment. I’m not sure why, but it makes me feel like an astronaut. Comments
