Crazy Flying Gomper Car by J.E.Moores. This is my latest car design, and much easier to build. If you have trouble, ask any 11-12 year old. No younger, no older. Instructions for building this car pattern here. Slide show of completed Crazy Flying Gomper Car - notice, I cut out the teeth, so the front is an open grill. I glued the little white tabs back for added support. I might add a tongue since the mouth is open… hmmmmm… Print! Cut! Fold! Glue! |

Chompin’ Gomper with Wings! Paper puppet with pop out teeth by J.E.Moores. See video of completed Chompin’ Gomper here. Print! Cut! Fold! Glue! (actually no glue is needed this time!) |
Space Cadet poseable paper pop up action figures. These could be the most difficult paper toys to write instructions for yet… The face and chest are triangle pop ups, and each joint of the arms and legs get a hinge pop up. They sort of build them self once you cut them out and fold all the tabs… so it’s easier to do than to explain. Video Instructions: How To Build Space Cadets. |

This is the paper puppet I learned as a child, and have enjoyed making my whole life. Print and fold this 8.5 x 11 piece of paper into thirds the long way down the red lines of the center rectangle. Fold that long piece in half, then fold it back making a W shape. Here’s my paper Gomper puppet with added pop up tongue action in a video for you to see: |

Evil Paper Bug by J.E.Moores. This pattern is great because it folds flat, but opens up to many different shapes including reversible. The whole thing comes from a simple square with two straight lines cut into each corner. This can take 10 minutes to cut out and fold. Glue is only needed if you make toy two sided and join the two squares. You choose: two toys, or one double sided toy. |

Johnny drives his car. Print full size image above, cut out rectangle, then cut away little snippets to create the glue tabs. Cut along the round part of each wheel. There is a T shaped cut on each side of the wind shield along the back seat. Every glue tab has it’s exact opposite on the other side. The car is just a slim box. Fold car from glue tab to glue tab to create the box shape. First glue the money bags so they line up right, then glue the front so logo lines up. Close up each end like a box, and glue it so the head lights are in place. Lift windshield up and push the back seat down. Tools needed: printer, paper, scissors, craft knife, glue. A cutting pad is nice too. |
