I lost my mind celebrating Munny Munth, and out of all the Munny customs I made, this is my favorite. I made a little character from Munny’s right hand, made a silicone mold, and then cast them in solid plastic colors. Each one is about 1.5 inches tall and comes in a nifty printed cotton bag. This is my 4 inch prototype for Electric Podling Munny toys. The hand cast clear plastic Podling fits inside Munny’s head. Podling’s face fits in the round window carved into Munny’s face. One foot has bottom removed for watch battery compartment made of silicone putty so it custom fits the space. Wires run up through neck into head. LED is installed in Munny’s head so Podling’s face lights up when button on Munny’s back is pushed. Soul Plane. My 5 year old daughter has a story she tells us: She says that before she was born she was looking down to choose her parents. When she saw that we wanted a daughter, she liked us the most of all her choices, and flew into Mama’s belly. The Soul Plane is inspired from that tale. Little spirits coming and going from one life into another. Welcome a new life in your family. After all, they chose you! |
